VRXPerience Gloucester is now permanently closed

“It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that VRXPerience will be closing its doors permanently as of today (22 July 2026).

After almost 7 incredible years, we've made the incredibly difficult decision to close the business.

This wasn't a decision we ever wanted to make, but rising operating costs, the impact of the cost of living on customer spending, reduced footfall, and a number of circumstances beyond our control have made it impossible for us to continue.

To every single person who has visited us over the years, whether you came for a birthday party, a family day out, a corporate event, a racing session, or simply wanted to experience virtual reality for the first time, thank you.

You've helped create something we're incredibly proud of. We've watched children grow up, welcomed families back year after year, celebrated countless birthdays, and shared thousands of unforgettable experiences. Seeing the smiles, laughter and excitement on your faces has made every challenge worthwhile.

We also want to say a heartfelt thank you to every member of our team, past and present. Your hard work, enthusiasm, patience and dedication have helped make VRXPerience what it has been. We couldn't have done any of this without you, and we'll always be grateful for everything you've given.

To everyone who recommended us to friends and family, left us kind reviews, shared our posts, or simply chose to support a local independent business, thank you. Your support has meant more than words can say.

If you have an existing booking that falls after our closure, you don't need to contact us. Everyone with an affected booking will be contacted directly as soon as possible with further information.

Running VRXPerience has been an honour, and although this chapter is coming to an end, we're incredibly proud of what we've built and the memories we've helped create over the last seven years.
